The baseline is an EnergyPlus building energy simulation that represents expected performance under controlled conditions. It includes:

• Building Geometry: Zones, surfaces, materials with thermal properties
• HVAC Systems: Equipment topology, control sequences, design capacities
• Internal Loads: Occupancy schedules, lighting, equipment (plug loads)
• Environmental Inputs: Weather data, outdoor air, infiltration rates
• Operational Schedules: Operating hours, setpoints, ventilation
